I'm a female runner looking for ladies who need to get their runs in before most of the city wakes up. I'm out the door on weekdays between 445-5 am for 5-7 miles at a 9:40-10:00 mile pace. I'm dependable and not known for flaking at that early hour.  I run the streets around 2nd, Boulevard, and Broadway areas for safe lighting - Hafer park if the sky is a little lit.

I run with 2-3 other women in Edmond on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 530 am.  We follow a training schedule which uses some type of speed work during the week - fartleks, tempo runs or progressive runs. We typically do our long runs with LandRunners on Saturdays, but occasionally just meet with our regular group in Edmond.  We meet at Taco Bueno on 2nd and Blvd, or at the track at the YMCA on Rankin. Regarding pace - the 4 of us run different paces.  When we are not doing speed work, one of us is usually running at the pace you mentioned.
Other than the extremely rare event of sleeping through an alarm, we are ALWAYS there, regardless of the weather (except lightening)
We would be happy for you to join us and give us a try. You can email me at kalasigler@gmail.com if you like.
    Happy running!

Hi! My name is Steve Stallbaumer and I moved to Edmond about 6 weeks ago. I have recently joined the landrunners but I am looking for a local group during the week to run with in the mornings before work. Any assistance would be appreciated.
