Course - Katy & Greenway Trails

 4-5 Miles for Qtr Marathoners

  • Katy Trail to the 1st water stop @ NE 16th for 4 miles or NE 23rd for 5 miles

 10 Miles — Douglas HS Gym to the Zoo and Back

  • Start at Douglas High School Gym
  • Head south along MLK
  • Connect to the Katy Trail @ 4th Street
  • Follow the Katy trail past Lincoln Golf Course (Bathrooms)
  • Continue north to the Oklahoma City Zoo
  • Turn around and return along the same route

 20 Miles — Greenway Trail to the Boathouse and Back

After completing the first segment and refueling:

  • Head out onto the Greenway Trail along the river
  • Continue past Okana (Bathrooms)
  • Follow the trail all the way to the Chesapeake Boathouse (bathrooms)
  • Turn around and return to the start

This gives runners a long, uninterrupted stretches—perfect for settling into marathon rhythm.

Line up by pace. We’ll call groups so we don’t all stampede at once.

Cupless Water/Powerade Stops

  • Start/Finish, 2M, 4.5, 5.5, 8, 10, 12, 14.6, 15.6, 18
  • Hydrate like a champion.
  • Don't forget to bring a cup, bottle or hydrapouch

Running Etiquette

Be kind. Share the road. Don’t block the road or trail like a human traffic cone. Obey signs and use crosswalks. Review the etiquette sheet before we start.
